Percy does not currently make a kit for Z32's, but if I provide (buy) them a set of window glass for molds - about $1200 for front, rear and sides - they will make it. If at least five people buy it, the price will go down to $850 which is $300 off the regular price. The glass I would buy would come from a glass place local to Percy and I am assuming that it would match-unless somebody knows otherwise about non-Nissan glass fitment issues. From Nissan the set of glass is about $1500, so it saves me a bit to use Percy's local place. Aaron at Percy recommends 3/16" thickness, he says thinner than that and the windows will rattle. Percy provides Speedglass for Nissan Motorsports 350Z's, they use 1/4" which is heavier but safer. The weight savings he says is 50-75%. I don't know what the Nissan glass weighs, he is estimating the front and rear Speedglass windshields at around 12-13 pounds each. I don't know anything about how to run group buys, but if someone wants to run one or just join in on the purchase, it would help ameliorate my cost for purchasing the initial glass Percy will use to make molds from.
